Brushes with Cancer Opening Ceremony

Join us for the Brushes With Cancer opening art exhibition presenting original works of art created during the program. Brushes With Cancer is a four-to-six-month program that strategically matches artists with inspirations (cancer patients, cancer survivors, caregivers) touched by cancer to create art reflective of their cancer journeys. Pairs connect in person or virtually, with their relationships guided by meetups and mentors, often clinicians, who create support systems for the artists and inspirations. The program finishes on a high note with a celebratory art exhibition at the Arsht Center. The event is open to program participants, families, artists, and the Miami community. Evening will include remarks by program participants, refreshments and a silent auction.
