The Assistive Listening Device (ALD) Coordinator is responsible for the distribution, operation, maintenance, and tracking of assistive listening devices to ensure accessible experiences for guests who are deaf or hard of hearing. This role supports the organization’s commitment to accessibility, inclusion, and excellent guest service by ensuring all assistive listening equipment is available, functional, and properly explained to users.
Note: This position is reserved for volunteers who have worked the role more than three (3) times or who are members of the Audio Description Team. All volunteers who sign up for this position must be approved by either the Front of House Team or Volunteer Services. Volunteers who are not approved will be notified and removed from the shift. In addition, the ALD Coordinator will be expected to assist in other areas as requested by the House Manager if needed.
