Emily Maddox

Emily Maddox began performing at a young age under the mentorship of Jazz legend Ira Sullivan and continued her studies at the University of North Florida with the internationally-renowned drummer for Gary Sinese’s Lt. Dan Band and Pat Metheny’s original drummer, Danny Gottlieb. She has performed with a wide array of artists such as Eiza Gonzalez, Chiquis Rivera, Christian McBride, Julio Iglesias, Rita Moreno, Vanessa Williams, Alicia Hall Moran, John Pizzarelli, Marcus Printup, The Brecker Brothers Reunion Band, Ed Calle, and Conrad Herwig. In addition, she has had the privilege of being privately mentored by world-class drummers such as Willie Stewart, Rodolfo Zuniga, John Yarling, Ulysses Owens Jr.,Tootie Heath, Alphonse Mouzan, and Duffy Jackson. In 2020, Emily began exploring songwriting, recording, and combining her drumming and singing, ultimately leading to her debut single release, “Give It Back”. She has since released multiple singles as well as her debut album in November 2024, “Timelines”.
