The Guest Services & House Support Volunteer plays an essential role in creating a welcoming, organized, and positive environment for all guests. Volunteers assist with loading the House with guests, providing information, answering questions, and supporting daily operations to ensure smooth and effective service delivery.

The iconic sound of Sergio Mendes returns to the stage, performed by the musicians who stood beside him. The Sergio Mendes Band toured and performed alongside the maestro. They are led by Gracinha Leporace, Mendes' wife and vocal partner of over 50 years. Before his passing in 2024, Mendes called this group the best band he ever had. Marking 60 years since the debut of Brasil '66, the band continue Mendes' lifelong mission of sharing the vibrant rhythms and infectious soul of Brazilian music with audiences around the world. With a sound that blends timeless Brazilian grooves with fresh arrangements and uplifting energy, The Sergio Mendes Band bring a renewed sense of celebration to every performance. Each note pays tribute to Mendes’ remarkable influence and a career that helped shape a global appreciation of bossa nova, samba and the unmistakable warmth of Brazilian culture.

Gospel Fest Miami Weekend closes with a dynamic night of gospel featuring Miami’s Mt. Pisgah Mass Choir, runner-up of the 2026 Arsht Gospel Choir Invitational; Deana Rahming and Second Chapter; and an electrifying headlining performance by acclaimed worship leader Todd Dulaney.  Former professional baseball player turned acclaimed gospel artist Todd Dulaney is a Grammy Award nominee known for powerful worship anthems such as “Victory Belongs to Jesus” and “Your Great Name." A sought-after performer and collaborator, he has shared the stage with many of gospel’s leading voices, including Donnie McClurkin, Michelle Williams, Fred Hammond and Tye Tribbett, while building a reputation for music that uplifts, heals and inspires.

Kick off Gospel Fest Miami with an uplifting evening featuring South Florida gospel favorites Sisters United, Corey Patrick Edwards and Pastor Rashard Wright & Connect Worship. Grammy Award-winning gospel star Jekalyn Carr will deliver a headlining performance that’s sure to inspire.  Carr began her professional career at 15 years old and has since become one of the genre’s top-selling independent artists, earning multiple Stellar and Dove Awards along with Billboard chart-topping hits including “Greater Is Coming” and “You’re Bigger.” In addition to her acclaimed music career, Carr is a recognized speaker, media personality and trailblazer; was named to EBONY’s Power 100; and is the first gospel artist to be inducted into the Women Songwriters Hall of Fame.

Drawing from the archive of renowned photographer René Robert, José Manuel Álvarez proposes a performative space where dance and digital art converge. This work reinterprets more than 50 years of flamenco photography in which Robert sought to capture a state of grace and the fury of living. Álvarez translates gesture into movement, embodying the photographer at the moment of the shutter's release—becoming the developing vessel and the conduit through which these artists are reconnected. Through corporeal expression, the work establishes a living dialogue between the photographed flamenco figures and the present moment.

The Creative Process – Flamenco Beyond Tradition is a dynamic flamenco performance born from a week of exploration, research and creation. Emerging from an intensive residency, this one-night presentation brings newly choreographed works to the stage alongside selected repertoire, performed by a core group of flamenco dancers immersed in a shared creative journey.

The Assistive Listening Device (ALD) Coordinator is responsible for the distribution, operation, maintenance, and tracking of assistive listening devices to ensure accessible experiences for guests who are deaf or hard of hearing. This role supports the organization’s commitment to accessibility, inclusion, and excellent guest service by ensuring all assistive listening equipment is available, functional, and properly explained to users. Note: This position is reserved for volunteers who have worked the role more than three (3) times or who are members of the Audio Description Team. All volunteers who sign up for this position must be approved by either the Front of House Team or Volunteer Services. Volunteers who are not approved will be notified and removed from the shift.

In addition, the ALD Coordinator will be expected to assist in other areas as requested by the House Manager if needed.

Their music offers a hypnotic blend of zydeco-roots-reggae and soul-funk that highlights the musicians' Creole heritage.
